Moulton Preservation Ride

Laying down my Moulton, before the iron gate

Quickly rang the bell, hoping I hadn't come too late

But someone came along and told me I was just on time

And when I asked him how he knew he said, 'Just look behind.'

Please join us on 24 July for the annual 'Michael Woolf's Moulton Preservation Ride.' The ride that celebrates restoring and riding of F-

Frame Moultons.

Dust down your F-Frame Moultons* and join Robert and Clive for a gentle soiree around Richmond Park. Be part of one of the largest gatherings of F-Frame Moultons and celebrate the true spirit of The Moulton Bicycle Club.

Meet at Roehampton Gate Car Park (free parking) to set off at 10.30 am.

The ride is a very leisurely pace of about 12 miles in length, mainly off road, following the Tamsin Trail.

The ride is ideal for those who prefer a gentle amble on their F-Frames.

There is one optional hill towards the end of the ride.

There are plenty of refreshment stops en route and places of interest to see, with a picnic lunch at Pembroke Lodge.

Bring your own food or buy snacks from Pembroke Lodge kiosk nearby.

The event ends at Roehampton Gate Tea Rooms and disperses by about 3.30 pm.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Robert & Clive.

NB: The ride falls within the Ultra Low Emission Zone.

* No F-Frame? No problem, come on any Moulton bicycle!

  1. I have a Moulton Mini I would like to give away, it is single speed with a coaster brake. As a project I have regreased all wheel, steering/fork, bottom bracket bearings and resprayed it Hammerite yellow. It is mainly original with the main change is the rear rack has been cut off (not by me). I live in Fareham and my number is 0750 307 2190 if interested.
