    Hi
I believe the newer (ie not F frame) moultons have 20×1 3/8 wheels
what appears to be 36 spokes, can anyone confirm this and is it possible to buy these rims?

The majority of current Moultons use 406 rims (20 x 1.75″) or 369 rims (17″). There were a few APBs that had 451 rims (20 x 1 3/8″) but not many.

Most Moultons have 28 hole wheels.

thanks for that i was looking for a narrower wheel for a folder, they all seem to have the 20×1.75 tyres which are fatter and are harder to ride, bought an old dawes kingpin in the end with 20×1/3/8 wheels

The 406-wheeled bikes in this house use 32mm width tyres. High quality wide tyres can roll very well, though they are heavier than thinner options. Schwalbe’s Big Apple tyre is the obvious example.

Glad you’ve solved the problem though.
