Can someone point me to were I can find detail on next months event? I just got my issue 99 the info included is a bit sparse for a new member planning to come.

It would be great if the club could publish a description of the event for new members or new attendees to the event. The addresses of the events, planned activities through the weekend, how do members access the events (is any proof of membership needed?) are all modes of transport welcome? what is parking and security like? what happens when etc.

    many thanks

    David

PS: I see Matt’s name under the article in no99 but can’t find his name or contact info elsewhere

Hi, and a Happy New Year to all MBC Members! Does anyone know if there will be an April 2014 Club Gathering at BoA this year? If so it would be useful for Club members to have as much advance warning of the dates as possible, particularly those who have to make ‘long-distance’ travel arrangements! Hi! I’ve now been told by Arthur Smith, who works so hard to organize Club events at BoA, that there WILL BE an April weekend Club Gathering at BoA this year, 2014. The dates are Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of April.

Hi is there any background information? I camped on the grounds during Sept’s BOA last year but am not familiar with the April event.

I’m in the same boat. I think I read from the Yahoo forum that the favourite campsite for the April event is ?Merkins? Farm. About a mile from the town and about 50mtrs from the Plough pub.

If someone more learned than me could confirm please.

    Hi all,

Just wanted to say thanks to all who made this BoA virgin feel so welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed the repartee and the opportunity to gather ideas and knowledge from such a learned group.

Also thanks for not laughing openly at my efforts i.e. Molly. Just gutted I’m not going to be able to make the August meet as in Scotland.
