I attended my first BoA meeting last year, & enjoyed every aspect of it.
I am curious as to why the Saturday evening meal is 4.5 miles away in a village hall & not in the marquee as last year. It seems a shame that those barbecuing or fish & chipping at the Hall will miss out on any after dinner speeches etc. Plus getting back to the Hall after a drink or three may prove interesting for some.

Clive ….. Most of the post dinner activities will now take place at the end of the day as opposed the evening …sorry for the delay in a reply….. Otis appears that all a able hall space was booked……

Wasn’t there some objections to the noise last year from local residents?
Did that have anything to do with the decision?

Most people seem to have forgotten that this year is the 21st anniversary of the APB Land Rover. It was launched in September 1995. Can we add this to the running of the BoA meet? A good turn out of APB Land Rovers would be great. To get the ball rolling I have 1 to bring along…

Also 2016 is the 50th anniversary of the Moulton Automatic. They were only made in one year – 1966 – precisely 50 years ago.

Time to get these items on the agenda then. I can almost hear Tony Hadland talking about them now through the loudspeakers…

I will be riding from Bristol Temple Meads stn on the Friday pm. Just wondering if anyone else will be doing the same journey and perhaps could cycle together. Looking forward to the meet and seeing all the old faces.
