Any members living around the Mansfield/Hinckley areas with a sofa available on which a weary cyclist could crash?

I may, MAY, be cycling to Portsmouth next week from Durham and those 2 areas look like days ends with no convenient relatives/friends places.

I say “may” be as I’ve had a peek at the weather and it’s not looking especially good, as I should have expected of course.

It seems as if only half a dozen people check these forums so I guess it’s a long shot in any case.

Hi Chris. Thanks for that. I just thought that cycling, might be good to stay with a fellow cyclist.

It doesn’t matter anyway as the weather forecast isn’t especially good so I’m driving down. I’m still taking my bike and plan to take part in the Portsmouth naked bike ride next Sunday. Did the York one last week a ldy on a smart red APB.

Hi Clive Well, the sun cirtainly shone on Sunday! At York it is normally too cold to hang around too long naked after the ride. At Pompey on Sunday it was too hot! (At least for my delicate wimpy skin!!)

There was another Moulton there. A smart blue F frame of some description but I’m afraid that I’m not sufficiently up on them to know exactly what it was.

This Saturday coming it’s the Newcastle one, the last of the year for me.
