I would like to fit a kick stand to my 64 deluxe.
I was hoping to be able to adapt a standard bike stand & somehow fit that. I would appreciate it If anyone has any ideas on this or pictures that may be helpful.
Yes I know there’s one on e bay for only £229 but that’s just outside of my budget!

I got a cheap chainstay mounted kick stand on ebay. Cost about a tenner. Fitted it on left side just by the dynamo mount on my 66. I’ll take a photo and post it up.

too much junk in the shed could’nt get it out but looking at the £229 one on ebay i’m pretty sure it’s the same type, strange design going all the way to the back of the rear carrier support tube, why didn’t they make like the one illustrated?

I have just order a stand that clamps onto the rear fork. I think the genuine Moulton stand doesn’t do a lot for the look of the bikes design.

Thanks for all the help with this. The e bay stand may be a bit over priced, even for our Far East friends, as it’s been on for a few weeks now.

maybe not as overpriced as the chancer who’s trying to flog photocopies of the sidestand instruction fitting sheet for 5 quid plus over two quid postage!

Hi! Both the ‘long’ original Moulton sidestand at £229 plus 30quid postage, and the photocopied sidestand fitting instructions for £5 + up to six quid postage are from the same seller. It’s Lovejoy of course!! – who else?! This must be his latest sales technique, photocopying Moulton papers to squeeze out the last possible drop of profit from his Moulton items for sale!!

He’s not doing that well William – that stand has been on sale for a year or so! 😉

£S for photocopied sidestand fitting instructions?
    I’m speechless.

handy though, for anyone that needs the info should be quite easy to print from his photos!
