What is the best method for straighten bent rack bars ?

i have three f frame moultons and all have bent rack bars, i don’t know why because they seem to be sturdily made and it must take quite a bit of force to bend them.they seem to be pvc coated which is going to be lost in any straightening, i would think the best idea would be to heat up to a cherry red colour with a blowlamp and hammer it straight with a lump hammer preferably on an anvil or something similar. not on concrete and eye protection should be worn
