I have a Moulton Stowaway c. 1966, the bottom bearing of which is rusting, creating movement in the steering. I am told by bike shops that the bearing is not a standard size. Can anyone advise what size it is and whether there is somewhere I can get a replacement?

presumably you mean the ballrace assembly that enables the whole assembly to swivel and not the suspension spline bearing which is nylon.i believe the balls are 1/8 inch which should be a fairly common size.the race assembly is probably unique as they get snapped up quickly.they come up on ebay from time to time or it may be worth taking the bits to a bearing specialist, i,ve found a few times they can supply a one piece ballrace to fit supposedly obsolete machinery
