Front derailleur clamp adapter for Moulton AM (38mm diameter) ?

    I am thinking of adding a front derailleur and extra chainring to a late 80’s AM. Does anyone know a make of front derailleur clamp adapter that will fit the 38mm diameter frame?. Currently running a 9 speed Capreo hub on the rear and 52T chainring on front.

    Hi Sean,
    I have a similar cycle to you – an ’87 AM, running a Capreo cassette. I’ve decided not to go with twin chainrings and so I have a trio of suitable components – a carbon-fibre band, a Shimano 105 front mech. and the necessary band-on cable stop, if you are interested. Would you like some photos? They would be informative for you even if you don’t want to buy the components.
