can anyone throw some light on why my AM front suspension intermittently makes a sharp click when going over some bumps (but not all), Please. I’ve replaced leading link bushes and the nylotron guide plunger at the base of the spring and checked obvious things like loose height adjustment setting. It sounds like a form of stiction, but all is properly lubricated. It is most noticable when braking down a bumpy and long hill, and it sometimes happens when I dismount after riding.

I have now discovered that the bushes in the front suspension links were a lot older than I had thought. Replacing them and putting in the latest friction washers has cured the problem and inproved the smoothness of the suspension greatly.
