    HI Folks.

I have an APB S7 and rather stupidly went under a low barrier with the bike on the roof. Luckily there wasn’t too much damage but I have bent the forks. I have stripped the forks down and the moving/leading fork appears to be fine but one of the main legs has moved forward or backward.
So I can determine how bad they are and so I can straighten it would someone kindly give me the dimension from the centre line of the steerer tube back to the pivot point? A little like the rake/offset of a normal fork.

    Many thanks

    Slippy.

I have done a rough measurement with the fork still in the bike – lining up the centre of the head tube with a straight edge. The centre of the rear pivot bolt appears to be about 3mm behind the centre line of the steerer.
My observation may be affected by a parallax error though.

    Hope this is of use.

P.S. Your link to the diagram is broken – hope this one without the caching tags works better.

Thanks David for taking the time to measure your bike for me, very helpful.
Equally helpful though were the chaps at Pashley who have informed me it should be 7.6mm.

    Thanks again

    Slippy.
