Mini – don’t laugh

    I just acquired a Mini for renovation. Can anyone tell me:
    – can I establish the date from the serial number 340461.
    – what original colours were available – it’s a crazy pale blue (like a Man City shirt – maybe paler) that seems to be original. Could it be?

    M7 minis initially came in red and blue. The light blue will be an early 1966 model, most likely comes with single speed coaster brake. Check out The marvelous Moulton mini by Paul Grogan for full details. Cheers Ian
