I am a regular viewer of the History channel series American Pickers on TV but tonight was a first…The two pickers Mike and Frank, found a Moulton (Huffy) 4 speed in a typical barn, and bought it cheap!

    profit?

Hi Ken! Yes, I saw this episode too. It looked like a pretty nice bike and I about fell out of my chair at the price they bought it for. Why can’t that happen to me? If you watch closely at later episodes, you will see it sitting in the back of their shop. They valued it at $200.00 usd if I remember correctly. Still a very fair price for a bike that looked as original as that one did.

Wow… thanks for sharing that… so many amazing things to take note of in that clip. Loved the Moulton scrap book and the large scale Moulton deluxe model on his table! The shot from inside the factory where they were assembeling the frames was also very interesting. Great stuff!

I’m doing my best to make it over for the BOA event this year. In the process now of arranging my passport and flight details. I’m really looking forward to attending this.

I am hoping to post loads of short videos from the 2010 BoA meet showing Alex Moulton and I think that they give a good idea what you have to look forward to.
They will be on flickr….you know the rest?..ken
