Need Help Dating F Frame by Serial #

    Hello MBC-
    Could someone please help me clarify the dating of an F Frame Bicyle? The serial # is 070065.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Week 7 of the year* 65th bike made.

    *The year should be on the other side of the seatpost.

    Please note, it is believed there was a certain period of jiggery-pokery for frame numbering, the intention to throw the competition ( Raleigh) off the scent trail. The frame number may not be truly represent actual production figures. Also examine the Sturmey Archer AW/FW rear hub for a month/year date stamp, assuming it is the original hub.
