I am about to restore an F frame Deluxe Mk2 from 1965 and have noticed that some of the brake/gear cable clips on the frame are broken. They are the white plastic type.

What is the best way to remove these to allow frame restoration?
    Are replacements still available?
What are the best looking alternatives if the originals cannot be sourced?

Would appreciate any suggestions for this new Moulton owner.

I use a small drill and once the centre is removed the remains of the clip will pull out. You might be able to do the same by pushing the centre with an awl (or similar).

Originals have not been available for decades, but excellent replacement clips are available from Moulton Preservation – 6 x £5 or 12 x £11.
