you don’t say exactly what has come away but assuming it is the metal separating from the rubber there is a yank glue on ebay called “gloop” especially for glueing rubber to metal (about £10 with postage) alternatively you be be able to buy from mp

    Hi Terry,

I used a glue called Sticks like S**t. Does exactly what it says. I have also used it on boat fixtures and fittings. They were still strong when I sold her.

    Hi Thanks for the replies.
I have used unibound extreme glue just been out for a ride and its come away straight away.
its rubber not holding on to the metal just re stuck it down and have weighted it down so i will give it a day see how it go’s
