    I recall someone saying that he used an old bicycle tube folded.

    thank you Alex, I`ll keep looking, the bike is waiting to be sent off to Derby for a respray, so its not going to be ready for the re-build for several weeks,

    Another possibility is to put an add in the Wanted section of the classifieds.
    Also I suspect it would be worthwhile contacting Brian Perkins of the bicycle Hub (see second entry under Moulton Links).
    Brian is the MBC mini-man and is very knowledgeable and helpful.
