Any ideas on replacing the freewheel on my AM7. The cogs are still in good repair, but the bearings are having problems. The freewheel is a Regina CX — any sources for replacement. Thanks.

    Hi Doug,
I think ebay is your best bet or cycle jumbles.
I know that there were two different freewheel bodies used with the AM7 sprocket set. There was the Regina CX and also the Suntour Winner Pro freewheel body. Hope you sorted out the issue. I believe you can get them serviced but I’ve never done it myself I’ve often wanted to.

I have replaced my freewheel with a SRAM dual drive hub so have one potentially available for sale along with an NOS small cluster. The freewheel body has two different diameters since the low gear cluster is so small. They can probably be rebuilt or maybe try the factory for availability.

Hi, if the OP does not quake you up on the offer of the freewheel I’d be interested in buying it for my AM7. The one I have has some play.

Hi, sorry for the long delay. Checked mine and it has a bit of play too although it runs smoothly. I can look into seeing if it can be rebuilt.
