Hi – just posted some photos on flickr of my recently (almost) completed restoration of a 1965 F frame. Alongside it in some pictures is my also restore Citroen 2CV sahara also from 1965. The Sahara is a very rare bimotor version with 4 wheel drive , only about 690 were made,
I say almost restored as i am struggling with a couple of things. If you look carefully you will see that the rear wheel is steel and the from aluminium. I have a pair of aluminium ones but can’t get the Sturmey to engage any gears, an=y suggestions welcome.
also the rear brake won’t release properly onside seems to stick whatever I do.
I have restored as near to original as possiblke but also tried to make it ridable so new pedals and aluminium rims for instance.
    Any comments help welcome

For the Sturmey problem, can you take the guts out of the working hub and put it in the hub of the wheel with the alloy rim and get it to operate?

    (The Sahara is fabulous!)
