Series 2 frames and K prefix

    Does any Moultoneer out there have a genuine Series 2 framed vintage Moulton which has the K stamp such as K65 or K66?
    This information is to assist research into frame numbering.

    It reads K65 but I thought mine was a Series 1 bike.

    Thank you very much for posting.
    The Series 2 frame has a transverse or rotated seat tube and is edge-brazed similar to the
    the Major. I should have been clearer. Bev, your lovely Speed is a Series 1 and I suspect so is Ministrone’s.

    Has yours definitely got the edge-brazed frame with the rotated (transverse) seat tube?

    My Deluxe is a K66. I will check tomorrow if the seat tube is transverse, but I don’t think it is.

    Just checked and mine does not have tge transverse tube
