I’ve just taken the freewheel off my Speedsix to get the hubs built into a new set of rims and would like service it replacing the bearings but can’t see for the life of me how to open it up. On the later Regina 7 speed freewheels a locking ring is exposed when one removes the smallest cog but this assembly is not use on the earlier 6 speed freewheels. I’m hoping that someone has undertaken this task and could shed some light and wisdom on the correct procedure. Many thanks in anticipation.
