Hi all repost as forgot to set destination group, D’oh!

I have purchased a wheel from the bay and it has come with one of the new 9 spilne 5 speed hubs. On fitting the sprocket it appears to need a spacer to take up the ludicrous amount of play. Can’t find one listed in the uk. Am I missing something?

I just bought a Brompton 5 speed wheel. Mine is designed for 2 sprockets, I would guess yours is as well. See: http://www.ready-made.de/how-to-change-the-rear-sprokets-on-my-brompton/
I would be interested to see how you installed yours, the cable routing, etc.

Bobbie, thanks for that, so I am missing a spacer as with both sprockets fitted there is insufficient space between them for the chain. I’ll have to engineer something.

Further to this, the guys and gals down at St John Street cycles will be stocking the spacers from next week apparently.
