    Hi all,

I’ve just bought (not yet paid for or collected) an AM7 on eBay, here is the listing.

I’ve got a bit of a funny feeling about it. The person selling it vague in his communications and describes the bike as a Moulton 531.

To caveat my suspicion, I’ve recently had my APB and Series 1 stolen from our flat here in London.

I’ve done a little digging in to the sellers eBay history and it doesn’t fill me with confidence. The bike appears to have been listed 5 times and sold 3 times. Also a similar story seems to true of another bike he is trying to sell. Here is a link to the history.

He is also selling other bikes on Gumtree. Here’s one.

I’d be interested to hear if anyone knows of any stolen AM7, and has frame numbers that I could cross reference when viewing the bike.

Also if anyone on here reading this were any of the other winning bidders in previous sales?

Or just any general thoughts from the Moulton Community?

To buy or not to buy?

    Thanks,
    Liam

If it is stolen, the thief may well use an address for the collection that is not his real home.
That would make it harder for the Police to track him down.

I do hope you get your bike back.
