    Simon can I recommend that you take a look in THE MOULTONEER where you will find an article on this very subject ?My bike is converted to 18 speed, read on..ken B

    Hi Ken, I’ve been searching back through the Moultoneer archive online but can’t find the article you’re referring to in this thread. Do you remember which issue the article was in at all?

    Sorry Paul, the article is in moultoneer issue 103…Not a definitive guide, but should point in right direction ?…the ex Peter Knottley bike that I use most days for fitness….ken
