Hello, i’m hoping you guys can help me value my modified mk1. I’ve looked online but there is a wild variation of prices (and ambitions). I want to sell but what i can get for it will dictate my ambitions for the next restoration – a mk2.

– Mk1 Moulton 1965 – was std 3-speed now updated.
– Totally rebuilt. Original owner parked it in a barn in Coventry for 30 years. Covered in surface rust but nothing at all structural.
– Powdercoated grey with white rack.
– Sun rim & stainless spokes
– Schwalbe marathon tyres
– Alohongra front brake.
– Moulton preservation strengthend rear forks.
– SRAM S7 hub gear in brake
Alloy cranks, chainring, bars & adjustable stem, lock-on grips, black mudguards, new bottom bracket, new lines, new chain, alloy seatpost, brompton saddle.
– Original alloy head badge.
– New Moulton graphics (from moulton preservation).
– Ridden a few hundred dry miles since completion so in teriffic condition.

Gorgeous that, i reckon 4 to 500 mark tops but who knows as folk are fickle, feel free to stick it on my facebook page “The Moulton F Frame Group” plenty of folks to give you an honest opinion.

Stick it on ebay with a reserve price you are willing to sell it for. List it with shipping worldwide, and be prepared to package it up, as you will get more interest from Asia than here probably. Then ebay will take @0% of the sale price in fees.

I think @£350 is possible as it does look nice and is built with some expensive parts – but unless you got everything at rock bottom prices I don’t see you’ll be making a profit in that and will want more.
