I have a Mark 2 F frame and for reasons I am not sure about, having taken apart, put back together and then taken apart again, the round clip holding the nylon washer in place on the end of the forks has disappeared.

Does any one know where I can source an appropriate replacement please?

    many thanks

Have done various searches online, Ebay, Halfords etc. Might be worth trying a car parts shop or two for clips. They go under various names for a retaining clip, “snap clip” being another one witha variety of sizes, etc. Whilst I am sure its not impossible to find one its a pain to source. I measure the diameter at 17mm for the steering tube so it needs to be slightly less to retain the tension
