It with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Michael Woolf.
Michael was the key player in the renewed valuing of the Moulton bicycle in the early 1980s. Through his hard work and dedication, the Moulton bicycle became appreciated as a key design concept, appearing in many magazines, museums and art galleries world-wide.
We are all indebted to Michael for his commitment to keeping the F-frame models on the road, through his Moulton Preservation activities. Moulton Preservation was the first port of call if you needed advice or parts, both of which were given with great enthusiasm, dedication and immense friendliness. Nothing was too much for Michael.
Michael’s death is a sad loss to us all and we send our best wishes to his partner Zoë and his brother Dave.
A full obituary will appear in issue number 136 of the Moultoneer.’
